The most recent edition of The Encyclopedia of Popular Music appeared in a 10-volume set late in 2006. Altogether, over the years, Bruce Crowther has contributed almost 5,000 entries to the EPM, work that is ongoing today. The EPM is quite expensive but putting less strain on your budget are several spin-off titles. Collated by genre, these include The Virgin Encyclopedia of Jazz, the 4th edition of which, published in March 2004. sells at £60 /$US 90/Can$ 135 (rrp). Most of the entries in the Jazz spin-off are by Bruce Crowther. You can buy The Virgin Encyclopedia of Jazz now.
