Second-hand copies of out-of-print titles can often be found at one or another of the many book stores selling through Amazon.
Many hundreds of my record reviews have appeared in Jazz Journal for a quarter century from 1984 onwards. Now in its 62nd year of publication, in April 2009 the magazine changed hands and in keeping with the times it has a website whereon details of subscription rates, et cetera, can be found. The site has only just opened and is still under construction but do take a look: Jazz Journal.
The most recent edition of The Encyclopedia of Popular Music appeared in a 10-volume set late in 2006. Altogether, over the years, I have contributed almost 5,000 entries to the EPM. In addition to the quite expensive 10-volume set, there are several spin-off titles. Collated by genre, these include The Encyclopedia of Jazz (4th edition published in March 2004), most of the entries in which are by me.
